Germany’s Next Topmodel

May 24, 2007 | 22:06

Germany’s next topmodel is a show hosted by Heidi Klum and a bunch of gay guys. I’m not homophobic, but those guys are really gay, like in

you_re_a_homo.jpg

Anyway, the purpose - at least that is what I’m thinking - is to cast girls that think they have the face and the BMI the next topmodel needs. Well, to be honest, that show is a failure. You maybe think ‘Maze is an idiot. Those girls rock! I would fuck them immediately’. No they don’t. And, no you wouldn’t. You see, those girls represent today’s established ideal of beauty. Which is - in my humble opinion - not representing today’s established ideal of the woman a man wants. For example, whenever you walk down the street, let’s say in summer, and a girl passes you by, which is 1.80m high and weighs 60 kilos, you wouldn’t recognize her at all or just think ‘Man, she’s got an eating disorder’. And the problem is that men think that way, but women think ‘She’s perfect, slim, tall, can wear anything, hasn’t got any cellulitis’ and so on. Sandra asked me, which of the 3 finalists I’d take, and I replied to her with ‘none’ which is the plain truth. Here’s an example of what women accept as the ideal woman:

slimmodel.jpg

What’s beautiful about her? Nothing I’d say. But this is accepted to be ideal. Not for me. What is more like it would be

babe.jpg

What’s beautiful about her? She’s not slim, eventually got spots and cellulitis. BUT she looks nice, you’re not afraid of breaking her in half, and she looks like the girl next-door. And that is what men want. Period.

AND I DON’T THINK THAT HEIDI KLUM IS SEXY!

The Movie Reviews

| 11:15

To mark this special occasion I’m proud to announce that from now on I’ll need more than two ratings for my movie reviews. Until yesterday it seemed to be sufficent to rate movies with ‘Must See’ which would be a grade A, and ‘Good One’ which would be grade B. But after yesterday’s visit to the cinema for Spider-Man 3 I’m back to bitter reality. Normally I would try to avoid watching movies from which I’m not convinced that they’re worth the money, so I’d pick out the movies I want to watch, and afterwards give them an A or a B rating. But Spider-Man 3, no matter how hard I tried to bend the rules, is neither a ‘Must See’ nor a ‘Good One’. And to avoid more lack of clarity in my movie reviews, here is the official mazedlx.net movie ranking:

  • Must See - these movies were that good I’d buy the DVD the moment it is released.
  • Good One - these movies were nice to watch, I’d buy the DVD when it is at discount.
  • I’d expected more - these movies were neither fish nor fowl, I won’t buy the DVD.
  • No Fun At All - these movies were that bad, they didn’t even had one good scene.
  • Stay At Home And Save The Money - these movies were really bad. Putting the spent money on fire at least would keep you warm for a while. I wouldn’t even download that kind.
