I need my RSS readers to sync, don’t want to read yesterdays news when I get home, therefore I use a web interface at work and a proper application at home. I did use Newsgator’s NetNewsWire since it has gone freeware, and I used the web interace - which sucks ass by the way - at work. Since there’s no possibility to sync my Newsgator account with my Google account, and Firefox is always running and one more tab isn’t an issue, I say hello to Google Reader.

Just some notes: looks and feels like Firefox, well done Google! Wasn’t able to take the Acid3 test, seems like I am not the only one trying to reach acidtests.org. Well done Google! Chrome is currently available only for Windows, come on Google! Chrome is based upon WebKit, again, well done Google.

I love webalizer statistics. Lightweight, easy to administer, and reports almost everything you want to know. Almost. Everything else you would like to know about the visitors of your website can be found out via Google Analytics, like screen resolution, color-depth and flash player version of your visitors. 800×600px is dead
